 創始人FRANK VAN WEZEL出生于荷蘭，大學畢業后于荷蘭皇家空軍服役，官銜中尉，退役在倫敦與巴黎學習與工作。FRANK熱愛壁球，深感市場上的壁球鞋無一能夠滿足要求，逐以當時進的科技，專研夢想的壁球鞋。1974年，FRANK在英國倫敦ESSEX地區，以HI-TEC (高科技)為品牌名稱，開展事業，構建高科技體育及戶外運動王國。

HI-TEC推出高爾夫球鞋；與美國大師賽冠軍、歐洲萊德杯隊長英國IAN WOOSNAM艾雲?伍士能及2屆大滿貫冠軍球員PARAIG HARRINGTON哈靈頓，與重量級的科技與技術，推出萬眾期待的高科技球鞋。

HI-TEC贊助98年國內外歐洲外圍賽事計時器，啟發品牌研發手錶類目。手錶注入運動戶外元素，錶帶採用碳素橡膠，迎合喜愛戶外活動的人士需求。

HI-TEC信譽國內外40周年。生活啟廸，產品及市場戰略全面升級，策動國內外美好生活。在中國廣州成立HI-TEC電子商貿有限公司，直接服務中國消費者。

Hi-Tec Sports was founded by our Chairman Frank Van Wezel in 1974.

Born in Vlissingen, The Netherlands, Frank’s success began early on in life. He graduated with honours from Nyenrode Business University, despite being the youngest in his year, before fulfilling his National Service obligations as a Lieutenant in the Dutch Air Force. Upon leaving the Air Force, Frank worked and studied in London and Paris, after which he lived in East Africa for 10 years.

Eventually, Frank transferred to Essex in England where his love of squash and tennis led to his involvement in the sports shoe industry. He was instrumental in the introduction of the first specialist squash shoe which subsequently led to the creation of Hi-Tec Sports PLC.

40 years on, Hi-Tec Sports now enjoys worldwide recognition as being one of the world leaders in sports and outdoor footwear, with distribution in approximately countries and subsidiary companies in UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Spain, France, Germany and the Benelux.

The company currently employs approximately 400 employees and generates global sales of more than US$250 million. And the best is yet to come!
